When the Executive Office of The President of the USA calls, you snap to attention! Working with our friends at Center for Asian American Media (CAAM), Kontent produced a series of films for the 2022 United We Stand Summit – a cross-party initiative to highlight and protest the rise in hate-related violence in America.
Against a super-tight schedule, Kontent interviewed 17 Americans, coming from many communities, faiths and beliefs, all making a real difference in countering hate through their actions. Even across a Zoom connection, their stories made powerful testimonies to hope.
Our films streamed across the nation and aired at the live event before the President and Vice President spoke.
We came away moved and inspired from the project. It was a privilege to work with the White House, The National Endowment for the Humanities and CAAM on this crucially important campaign.
