Food.com was a business founded on a Sandra Bullock movie scene where she ordered pizza online in the movie ‘The Net.’ The then company CEO Rich Frank, ex-president of Disney, understood that the dining dollar fought for part of the entertainment dollar. He wanted a brand image and marketing campaign that would break from the dotcom clutter and be noticed. We went retro and wacky. The campaign humorously looks at crazy and unexpected situations that call for ordering in.
