Point Blue Conservation Science’s Roots Program is a multi‑year, California‑wide initiative to catalyze wildlife‑friendly restoration and resilience on working lands—farms, ranches, meadows and community gardens—especially among underserved populations, beginning land stewards, and Tribal partners. Roots is Point Blue’s flagship, equity‑driven restoration grant and technical‑assistance program, weaving indigenous and scientific knowledge to restore habitat, boost climate resilience, and build long‑term stewardship networks across California’s working landscapes.
Kontent created a long form piece for a launch event, a short form cut for social media. Then created a stand alone short film titled “Walking the Fringe”, highlighting the partnership of Point Blue, Sierra Foothills Conservancy and the Southern Sierra Miwuk Nation that screened at environmental film festivals across the country.
