To launch the Recology Safety Program we featured Arnoldo Diaz a former Recology trash hauler who experienced a life changing on the job accident. When the cameras rolled, he went into a trance and told the story you’ll see here in one take. Do I ask for another take? No. As we were breaking set, he casually mentioned to me that he’d never told this story to anyone before. He and I had several discussions to shape his story and he never mentioned this once.
